Thread: New to the site, is my experience a lucid dream?

Yes, it definitelly was a lucid dream! No matter how short, once you realize you are dreaming, it's lucid, baby!

Check out this Beginners guide. It will tell you about basics and help you decide on induction technique. DILD is usually recommended to someone just starting out, because it's simpler.

You can also join DV Academy, perhaps the Intro class. After that, you can either fly solo, or continue with one of the other classes.

Yes! Even if you knew you were dreaming or only a second in the dream, it's still considered a lucid dream. Start with the beginners guide gab mentioned. It will get you started and tell you how you can become lucid again!

Also be patient! Getting a lucid dream can take some time and effort. If you stay dedicated practicing, you will start to get lucid more often. Good luck! If you have any questions, let us know.
