Is it possible to have good dream recall without a dream journal?

Hi, I'm new here and I had a few short lucid dreams allready, but usually the moment I get lucid the dream fades.

I don't have a good dream recall, so I'm wondering if you can get a good recall without keeping a dream journal.
I don't have time to write it in the morning, plus if somebody found it, they would probably think that I'm weird or something and for online journal, I' usually not on computer in the morning.

It is harder. Especially without good recall to begin.

I'd say no, if you want to lucid dream the most effective way of doing so is keeping a dream journal. You need the fundamentals.

If you don't have time to write out full dreams, simply write key words. Write enough to make sure when you read them back you will remember the dream in full, then later in the day you can type up the full dream on the computer (or wherever you wish to write it).

The best reason for having dreams is that in dreams no reasons are necessary.

No sailor controls the sea. Only a foolish sailor would say such a thing. Similarly, no lucid dreamer controls the dream.
Like a sailor on the sea, we lucid dreamers direct our perceptual awareness within the larger state of dreaming.

      Welcome to Dreamviews!

Dream journal is an essential tool for a lucid dreamer. It helps you not only to start and remember your dreams, but it lets you read them later, find all kinds of usefull patterns and it lets your mind know, that dreaming and remembering your dreams is important to you.

You have many option for recording your dreams.

      1. Paper - get a notebook with lock and key, if you worried about privacy

Even if you don't have much time (although you could start getting up 20 min earlier), write some keywords that will later remind you of the dream. You can write a full dream later, either on paper or on your PC.

      2. Phone app, or voice recorder

      3. PC
