      Finding the Right Technique

Hello, I'm new to the site, I do not remember ever having a lucid dream before, (though I am very ready to have one) and I'm kind of lost, which is why I'm posting this thread right now.

There are tons of techniques out there, and looking through the "Induction Techniques" sub-forum has gotten me kind of overwhelmed. So I got to thinking, What if there was a way to go through all of these techniques and pick which ones are most likely to work for me, so I don't waste my time on techniques that won't work as well for me? So basicallly what I'm saying is... "Can you guys do this for me?" and, "If you can't right now, I think it would be a great way to improve on the website and just help people later on who end up feeling the same way I feel."

If you can help, great. If you can't help, okay, but you might want to be thinking about ways to do this so that you can help beginner lucid dreamers to LD regularly as quickly as possible.

I'm sorry if it sounds like this was all a bunch of whining, but I don't mean to. I just want to get me and other beginners in the future on the right track as soon as possible.

I apreciate all of you guys' help.

I would recommend DJing and trying some DILD, MILD, and WBTB methods. This thread is one you missed that will help ya!

Its not really simple, and there isn't really a fast track method to LD'ing. You need to try various different methods also to find what works for you, not only this you also have to fine tune the method you find that even worked for you. I don't want to discourage you, but I also don't want you to think you can go straight into this and start LD'ing every day after a few weeks of practice. You may not even have an LD until a few months of hard work.

We also can't just tell you what the best technique for you is, we can help you learn the techniques to try them but its up to you to figure out which one is working best. Everyone has a different track, part of the fun in learning how to LD is figuring out which is the right track for you.

Go to BrandonBoss's link and start a workbook, and the mentors their will help you get started.

Okay, just making sure that it wasn't an option.
