Hi everybody,

Sorry it's a very long post!
I'm new on this forum, pretty new to Lucid Dreaming as well. It's been something I've been interested in for a while, tried it a few years back (but I didn't spend much time on it, so I didn't get very far). I just found this site this other week and so I've been trying to get into it for good. At the moment, I'm really busy working, so I'm just trying to read around, become accustomed to the ideas and theories, monitor my sleep cycles, get into the habit of doing RCs, etc. I have a massive holiday for Spring Festival soon, so then I'll really be able to experiment. The crazy thing is though, just reading this site for the past few days has impacted massively on my dreams. I've always had pretty good dream recall and I can remember my dreams quite vividly some nights, but the past couple of nights, I've remembered so much and so many of my dreams. I've also had some weird experiences. A couple of days ago, I was reading about the reality checks and it must have really gone in to my subconscious, because the next day, as I was reading dreamviews again, I had a sudden dream flashback, where I was showing someone how I could my finger through my hand! I wasn't trying to do a reality check in my dream, but the idea was still there.

Then yesterday, I was reading about WILDs and things and when I woke up during the night, I looked at the time, just to see how many hours I had been asleep for. It said 5:17. And I was meaning to get up and try and think about getting an LD on the go, but I didn't. I think I fell back asleep, but it felt like 10 minutes later, when I looked at my clock again and it said 6:40. But literally just before that happened, I had this weird FA. I hadn't been LD, and it only lasted for a split second before I woke up and looked at the time. I woke up in my bed, just lying in a different direction, then I had this sharp intake of breath and I woke up for real. At least, I think I did. I'm not even sure now. It was all very weird for me.

I'm really looking forward to getting more into this. I feel like just reading this forum has made me more aware of everything.
Anyway, I hope it's super fun to get to know all of you.
