Talking I want to expand my consciousness.

      Hey everyone.

I'm interested in the practice of Lucid Dreaming and I intend to learn exactly how to do it. I think that we only get a certain amount of time in our lives, and if we're unconscious of our dreams and what goes on within them; we're only really living half of it. I want to explore these immense inner worlds inside my own head and get to know the deepest parts of my inner and sub-consciousness. I've experimented with Psychedelics in the past (LSA, Salvia, Peyote) and had some rather interesting results, however I intend to try to go down a more natural inner path now rather than using substances. Those days are over for me.

I'm 18, Agender (Biological sex is male, I dress like a male but I consider myself genderless) I've got Aspergers Syndrome and I'm pretty much just a slightly geeky kid who has an interest in mysticism and otherworldly things. That and cartoons, I love cartoons, drawing, anything to do with art. Expanding my creative ability and imagination is also a big part of this.

Peace, love, unity and respect to all

      -Fluffy

      Welcome Fluffy!

Yes, as you very well realized, lucid dreaming open doors to a new reality in which we can be fully aware of our existence, and it's such a natural process that we can reach out to our subconscious in an unique way. Finding people I know in the waking life on my dreams is such an akward experience, because even though dream characters are just projections, they can present themselves as being as intelligent as we are, and often give insight to things we never considered before.

I hope one day you can post some of that drawing of yours, I'm sure it will only improve as your creation expands due lucid dreaming ^^ Any doubts, just ask away, have fun around!

Hello Fluffy! Nice to meet you. I see you are a fellow pony fan ...

Dreams are a great way to expand your consciousness (without substances)! I'm also interested in art and cartoons. And dreaming definitely inspires my creativity. Hope to see you around!

Thanks for all the replies so far! You all seem like awesome and friendly people. Not to mention, other pony fans here! Yey! ^_^

Eventually I want to be able to travel to other galaxies and to other planets within my dreams. I've read alot about people also having increased experiences with ESP after lucid dreaming; or people being able to shift their lucidity into an actual out of body experience.

      Welcome to DV!

I've never visited space in a dream before, but I've heard it's awesome.

      Yaaay ponies!

And yes, that's something I hope to accomplish as well. Sounds exciting. Same with out-of-body experiences. Actually, learning about astral projection is what got me more interested in lucid dreaming.
