My Daughter has discovered Lucid Dreaming and we have been discussing it in Depth. The other day she announced she'd had a lucid dream. I flippantly asked 'How do you know you were Lucid dreaming and not just dreaming of Lucid dreaming?'. A long, long discussion followed before I confessed that I had asked a trick question. A dream of a lucid dream is surely a lucid dream in itself. Or so I thought. Having dwelt upon it more, I'm not so sure. I am an inveterate dreamer and can readily recall dreams. Like everyone else my dreams are sometimes 'real', with seemingly normal subjects and actions, as well as fantastical. If I can dream of flying on a dragon or somethjng equally unreal, why wouldn't I be able to dream of lucid dreaming, especially if I am currently very interested in the subject?
Anyone got a view?
