      Hello Dreamviews!

      Hello everyone!

      So I have been practicing LD for one and a half month but I practiced it 1 year ago for 1 month. It wasn't very successful, I had 2 short half lucid dreams. By now I've had 3 lucid dreams. The first and the second were 2-3 seconds long but the third was 3-5 minutes long. I've tried lot of things but none of them worked. Example: flying, go through the wall and firebending. Always when I looked to my hand it was weird that was the reason why I knew it's a dream.

      Anyway, I'm happy to became a member of Dreamviews.

      It's nice you already had lucid dreams. Looking at hands is one of my favorite reality checks. And the control - as with everything else, it will take some practice. Even then, you don't always have control in lucids. Check out the Dream Control forum. Have fun and if you need help, post your question.

      I've been a lucid dreamer since I was about 15. I had things I could control. I taught myself first to run, (which at first was like tar), then to jump, then eventually to fly. (I remember my first flight attempt landed me splat on the back of a semi truck because my thrust was so strong I couldn't control it right away). I learned to talk clearly as well. Its been a blast. My favorite things to do are to fly, sing and manipulate all levels of matter as well as levels of dreaming. I have had a lot of dreams where I will be dreaming 4 or 5 levels of dreams. Waking up like 4 or 5 times only to realize every time I'm still dreaming.

      Though I have those dreams from time to time that cross with reality so much that I have to have a totem to alert me I'm dreaming. Either by a 10 ft high leap or a small little top that balances perfectly without spinning. (Yes I was quite shocked they used that in Inception)
