      Some newb questions

I'm not having that much trouble getting sleep paralysis but I don't know what to do afterwards. Initially I tried moving my physical arm, nothing happened. Am I supposed to imagine it moving? I just don't understand that part. I think one time I somehow sat up and got my torso out, I don't remember, it was very confusing.

And negative entities are what's holding me back from attempting this more often. While I'm awake I usually have the attitude that I'll brush them off easily, even with enough confidence to laugh at their efforts to mess with me, however I know that once I'm out of body and if I actually encounter one(because I'm expecting them) I would be fear-stricken(and I really don't know why). What should I do in that case?

      Welcome to Dreamviews!

As you say, you hallucinate something scary because you expect it. You have to believe nothing can hurt you. Fill your mind with pleasant thoughts. Keep thnking and visualizing some cool scene from a previous dream, or some fantasy you have. You can get rid of the scary stuff just by simply saying to yourself "wow, what a cute bunny". Or project love towards it. Say that you love it and don't want to hurt it. Then watch it transform into something cute.

You can exit into a LD as you mention - by standing up or rolling out. But you can also wait for the dream to start and wish and see yourself inside it. http://www.dreamviews.com/wake-initi...ntry-wild.html

But you shouldn't really pay too much attention to any of your body sensations. SP has nothing to do with WILDing. It starts only after you start to dream and by then you are too far gone to notice anything. By then, you should not feel your body anyway, so if you in SP or not is irrelevant.

Here are two tutorials I recommend.

      WILD (sageous)
      WILD (dreamviews recommended WILD)

For AP/OBE, check out the Beyond dreaming section.

I'm not sure if you have had any WILDs before, or if you have read up on the technique. You may notice, that both techniques, at least the first part is pretty much the same. Then you can exit different ways.

I frequently exit during WILD by standing up/rolling out. Is that a LD or OBE/AP? Hope one day I'll find out.

Im also on the same page as you.
I feel really sticky in my body and find it hard to exit it . Even in a fake obe . I would suggest watching all the lucidology 101 videos .

He talks about all the methods of exiting your body. Twisting ,rolling, fake ladder , fake rope . etc you keep trying these and different types of methods changing every 20seconds or so .

      Word of caution about Lucidology.

It promotes Sleep paralysis as a necessary step. Well, it is not a necessary step. You can't induce SP, unless you have a disorder. And if you do have it, you already know it and you are getting it without trying. Btw, if you don't have the disorder, you will get it anyway, because that's something your body regulates. It's not a consious decision.

And all the info he is selling, you can get that for free all over the internet. Just search William Buhlman, Robert Monroe, Jurgen Ziewe, Robert Bruce, and go from there. And if you have any questions, just post in the Beyond dreaming section.
