      Hello !

Hello everyone. I am Rastko, 18 from Serbia and I am interested in life. I hope i will meet conscious people here, but this whole lucid dreaming thing tells me ordinary people dont do that kind of stuff. Atleast in Serbia, its not mainstream at all. I guess majority of this site is from North America? It seems to me, that the site is well organised , and that it will be a pleasure reading all those tutorials about LD. Thanks. Rastko.

      Hi Rastko, welcome to Dreamviews!

You are right, lucid dreaming is not mainstream at all. But I promise, we are all normal. More or less

If you look on the left side of posts, many users have their country's flag displayed. That's a pretty good indicator of DV's diversity. We have lots of Europeans, and even people from republics of former Yugoslavia.

If you are looking where to start, here are some induction techniques recommended by DV's staff. Induction Methods and Techniques

Take a look and please post any questions you may have. Happy dreams.

Normal is a relevant term Thanks for the help ! I just realised i didnt even mention how i found about lucid dreaming. Well i was researching internet one day (i do that kind of research very often) and somehow i stumbled onto lucid dreaming. I was very interested, but i have read that it requires practice that kind of stuff , and i was going trough some changes in the past year of my life so i didnt get into it. But now, ill have more free time, so i figured, why should i waste time, when a human being sleeps for 6 years approximately during his lifetime. So ill try, even tho i fight with my laziness every day. =)

Oh yeah. LD will blow your mind. I'm not kidding. I would say start with DILD. Everything you will learn while practicing for a DILD will come in handy when you try for a WILD. Those are two main induction techniques. Good luck and have fun

Welcome to DV, nost! If dreamviews were full of normal ordinary people, I suspect most of us would not be here. I would say it is a site dominated by eccentrics, ie interesting people. Just to mention also that the flag thing may or may not tell you where a person is from: my flag identifies me as being currently in the US, but I am originally from Poland. Lucid dreaming is completely worth the effort, good luck with attaining it!

You may say I'm a dreamer.
