A simple little trick I used to use a lot when I felt that I was waking up too early was to touch something inside the dream, like the ground for example, and really feel the texture, weight, etc. This helps bond your connection to the dream world.
I also used to hang onto something, this one worked great! a nice little way of telling your mind to 'hang onto the dream' Often I found when using this method, if I did wake up, using WILD was very very easy to enter the dream world again.
