      Hello to all

      Hi buddies,
my name is Sumys, 28 yo, I come from the Czech republic and really glad that I have found this fantastic forum. I heard about LD about 3 month ago and I am really interesting in this topic since then. I have had some little succes but it is like one wise man said. LD or OBE is like playing the piano. You can play some simple tone today, but it takes years of practice and great persistance to master. Why I am here? I would like to hear about others LD exp. and off course get to know you all better :-) Its always better to share your dreams with others, isnt it ?:-)

      With respect

Welcome Sumys! While I now live across the ocean from you in the US, but I was born in Poland, so not far from you. I have fond memories of visiting Prague - beautiful city.

Enjoy your dreams and enjoy DV!

      Welcome to Dreamviews sumys!

You can easily read about other member's lucid dreaming experiences via the nifty Dream Journals available here on Dreamviews. You can access them by clicking the button at the top of the page

What's your dreaming experience like right now? Is your recall pretty solid?

      Hello PennyRoyal,
I have been trying dream recall tips, recommended in EWLD, for about 1 week (e.g. DJ). Result is 1,5 dream/day in avg and I am happy with this. My biggest problem is my alarm clock ringing tone. It wake me up pretty violantly and abruptly cut my "dream flow" x but I have to wake up at specific time for my "real life" indeed. I am just thinking about posibilities how to sort this out. So far my favourite option is to buy one of those smart phones. It would give me more options to adjusting a ring tone, recording my voice after etc.

Thank you for the warm welcome.

Thank you JoannaB for your words. In a fact I live aprox. 3 km from the polish border. I can understand polish, but speak only czech. Maybe we could talk to each other in other languages than english :-) Hopefully you are happy in your new home.
      Regards

Excellent start, and EWLD is a fantastic book that helped me a lot when I first started.

As far as alarms go, smart phones definitely aren't a bad way to go - they have options for ring tones and you can adjust the volume to whatever you desire. The voice recording works really awesome for people, I like that you don';t really even have to get out of bed or write anything. I share a bed with someone though, I don't think she'd appreciate me vocally logging my dreams at 3am

You're welcome, feel free to PM me anytime if you have questions.
