Welcome RealityisBad!

Sounds like you already have the bull by the horns. A good thing to remember about that transition period between waking and sleeping is that it is simply a marker, not the destination. You won't get stuck there, and you need not be afraid. What you are describing is more likely Hypnagogia than actual sleep paralysis. That said, it can feel like you can't move, and you probably should stay still since that is the best way to sleep. However, you can still move if you choose to move. Let all the imagery, sounds, and the like pass by on your way to the dream. good luck!
