      Hello everyone!

Hello fellow dreamers, i've had (remembered) about 3 Lucid dreams in my life, each about 4 years spaced apart. I started doing reality checks and different strategies about a year ago once i realized that you could induce lucid dreams, and i ended up having one, but once i realized i was lucid, everyone in my dream started staring at me kind of weird (just like in inception) and everything started vibrating fast. I freaked out and woke up, that was my closest recent encounter with becoming lucid.

I recently started doing reality checks again and posting notes everywhere to remind me to check if i'm dreaming. Been doing it for about 4-5 days now, trying all the strategies, telling myself i'm going to dream as i fall asleep, telling myself i'll remember, doing lots of mindful reality checks, setting an alarm for 4-5 hours after i fall asleep, but for some reason i just can't seem to remember my dreams at all. It's just pure blackness that i remember when i wake up. This is odd because there will be times when i remember my dreams vividly for two weeks straight EVERY DAY.

Any suggestions would help. I'm going to keep persisting with my attempts to go Lucid though, and hopefully you guys can help me keep my resolve strong!

      Welcome to Dreamviews,
I would guess that you not remembering your dreams comes down to some kind of expectation or so. I would give it a few days and hopefully it will be better. You might wanna try set your alarm clock for a different time a few hours earlier and see how that helps. You might be waking up from Nrem sleep in which you have no dreams.
Keep going on with that strong motivation
