New member long time dreamer, Where do I start?

Hello: I found this forum through the podcast, I am a long time Lucid dreamer I am 53 and started LD at the age of 18 or so (you do the math) I'm wondering where I should go on the forum to get the most out of the community, much of it seems geared toward beginners and I probably won't get much out of that, Could someone help steer me in the right direction? I'm primarily interested in honing my skills and in applying LD to serious spiritual work, I have an extensive background in the Occult (Western Ceremonial Magick, Chaos Magick, Castenedan style Sorcery) But I am currently a practicing Zen Buddhist. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hello and welcome to dreamviews. if you want to hone your skills within the dream, dream control is probably the best place to be. For spiritual matters, check out beyond dreaming, should find what you're looking for. Extended discussion might have something for you, as well. And, finally, general lucid discussion is as the name implies, so there might be something of interest there, as well. Hope you enjoy your stay and I wish you good luck in future lucid dreams.

Edit: Yes, I find the way Dream Views automatically handles links most of the time confusing as well -- I type a URL, and usually (but not always) it transforms it into the title of that page instead of showing the URL, and sometimes it is just confusing. If there are any subforums that got named in this thread but not linked to, if you have any problem finding them, just give a holler and we will post a link. Also, I discovered that I before had the wrong http://www.dreamviews.com/dream-control/ link, so now I posted the right one in its place in my previous comment - and this time DV decided to keep the URL out of some or no reason.
