      Hello! c:

My peers call me Shaddie, and I'm going to be fourteen in about five months. I'm a huge fan of anime, manga and video games, so much so to the point where they invade my dreams, though hardly in any way I'd like them to. In the past I've experimented with what I now know are called lucid dreams before having any prior knowledge whatsoever, and my results weren't too satisfactory. I'm going to start with this site's methods tonight and, well, hopefully I'll be able to meet the one character I've been trying to for the past few nights in a few months. c:

Hello, Shaddie! Welcome to DV! I wish you the best of luck in your effort to lucid dream. Feel free to ask lots of questions, and we will do our best to try to answer them.

Hello, and welcome. It seems we are getting an endless stream of new users these days. One piece of advice i can offer you, is if someone is telling you how THEY did something, keep in mind that everybody is different. Although what he/she may say is effective, it may also not be. do not become dependant on something someone told you right away. Lucid dreaming takes patience, and repetition. (repetition, meaning practice. Good practice.) I recommend going into chat and asking the fellow DreamViews members any questions at all. They all helped me quite a bit. If you have trouble with the chat system, there are always tutorials on the site, and you can private message somebody if you like.
      I wish you luck.

Hey and welcome You sound really determined. That's good to start with. May I ask what technique you are planning to use?
Anyway, have fun and the best of luck!

Aloha, welcome to DV! I am seriously loving your L picture. I love hiiiim!

      Er-hem. Anyway.

Good luck on your lucid dreaming endeavors! Most, if not all, of the techniques offered on this site are nothing short of professional and have been studied by scientists for years and years and years, so of course we're not some occult site. There's also the online dream journal that this site offers and I hope that you find that it comes in handy. If you have any questions, then please ask!
      ~ until the very end
