Introduction of myself

Hello, I am a lucid dreamer that have been doing so for about 2 years, since then it is what I have been thinking about for the most part, tough it is always really hard to talk about with other people since explaining what it really is is hard to understand for someone that never experienced it. Also, before I Lucid Dream for the first time I didn't even know what it really was until a great while after, I thought my brain went haywire and kind of mad before I actually found out that it was actually something some people could do.

I found this forum where I could talk about it, Swedish forum called Flashback that is quite popular here for discussing all kinds of topics, but what they did to Lucid dream discussions was move EVERYTHING that had to do with it in to one single thread, and there was so much of them you could simply not discuss, but post a pledge and everyone simply ignored it because it was so messy, so could not discuss my personal experiences further.

I also know that my sister can Lucid Dream, but she doesn't talk much about it even if she knows I can do it also, a while ago she said she doesn't want to talk about some dreams because she doesn't want me to experience the same dream. I kind of know what she's talking about, because of hear hallucinations.

Anyway, I hope I can discuss it further here, I can literally post several essays about my personal experiences and I always want to discuss them to know more about them.

Welcome to Dreamviews, Lancell! You certainly came to the right place.

Yes, most of us share your pain of not having anybody to discuss lucid dreaming with. Other than our friends here, on DV. But I'm surprised, your sister doesn't wanna talk about it. Try to show her this site. Maybe after she talks to strangers about it, she will feel better about sharing with you.

At first I didn't really want to keep a dream journal, but because of recent events as of yesterday (lost my 15 year old cat) I actually really want to remember this nights dreams. Oh and another thing about me, I -think- I can remember most dreams when I sleep, since I always remember the dreams I had and the longer I sleep, the more dreams I remember. But you can never really be sure, since memory is a complex thing.

I also have big issues navigating trough forums and what to post where, for instance, where do I post thing I need help with when I'm done with this thread?
Also, I have a LOT of experiences with sleep paralysis, much more then I had with lucid dreams and I really think I am really special from anyone else in that area, they are rarely even leading into lucid dreams most times. So the question: where do I post posts with that topic alone, is it in WILD I discuss such matters?

Final, can I post dream journal of dreams I had in the past, where I can't remember the date?
