      New Kid

      Hi,
Had a very strange (supernatural?) dream experience, and when I looked for answers found this place. Looks like a really well designed site. Will take some time to explore it.
      Later,

Hi Nailler! Great to have you here! Are you interested in dreaming in general or also lucid dreaming? You can discuss and find more about both here. Have fun and see you around

Welcome < Intro to DV and useful links.

      Thanks for the welcome, NyxCC.

I'm interested in lucid dreaming. I've already learned a lot from poking around the site. Looks like it takes some fierce commitment to get good at it.

That's great. Lding is an awesome experience. So you already have been reading tutuorials and threads. Here's a link with the basic techniques just in case:

      Induction techs

I'd say for beginners DILD or MILD combined with wbtb might be a bit easier. One can stick with an induction tech for a while and also add another one in the mix to keep things more interesting.

You are quite right, learning to ld on a frequent basis does take lots of commitment, but I think a great amount of the work goes into really finding what's the best tech that works for you. Once you find it, induction gets much easier, and some induction techs like wild easier to pull off.

Let us know if you have any questions. Take care!

      Hi, NyxCC.

Curiously, just from browsing this site, I had a lucid dream last night. I was at dinner with friends. Both the food and service weren't so good, and we were all disappointed. When I took my wallet out of my pocket to pay the bill, I noticed my fingers looked gammy and realized I was dreaming... a great rushing sound and then I was driving a car at 200km/hr in a residential neighborhood ! Thought I was really driving in my sleep, like sleep-walking, got scared and woke up. Yikes!

Don't now enough yet to ask an intelligent question, but thanks for the offer, will keep it in mind.
