      New to Lucid Dream

      Hey guys, well as my title reads I am new to Lucid Dreams, I have really been interested in lucid dreaming, have actually tried to have one with the headphones and the sound waves, didnt have very good results after quite a while of doing this every night... Been looking around your website found that tea's have a great effect on getting a LD. Going to try it tonight ill report back with my findings in a couple days after i do it for a few days..

      Welcome to Dream Views! Glad you've tried a couple of things, but stuff like sound waves don't work in my opinion. First of all, do you remember your dreams? If not, keep a dream journal so that your recall will go up. Not having good recall means that you will forget most of your future lucids.

      Some good techniques for a beginner is the DILD technique, where you become aware within the dream. DILD mostly consists of awareness and reality checks. Awareness is one of the main things for lucid dreaming. Become more aware in life and then eventually it will carry over to your dreams. Look up some tutorials; DV is full of them!
