Something about REM
As we sleep, we go through sleep cycles. Each of them starts with NREM and ends with REM. First cycle has about 80 min of NREM and 10 min of REM. But as we sleep, NREM gets shorter and REM gets longer. That's why it's recommended to WILD after some sleep. You can start trying after 4.5 hrs. But clearly, the longer you sleep before your attempt, the better. It doesn't really matter what time you wake up. I would just use any time that you wake up naturaly. Or use a morning nap. In a nap, we go almost straight into REM.
