      Smile Hello!

Hello everybody! I've been interested in lucid dreaming for almost a year now and I'd say I've been taking it seriously for a few months. I've got a dream journal and I try to perform regular RC's, though I find that when I wake up in the morning, unless the dream was entertaining or vivid, I forget it.

I have managed 3 LD's so far(All DILD's), 2 of which I got so excited that I woke myself up!

My first one happened while I was camping. I was sleeping in my tent with my dog and he woke me up at I'm guessing around 5-6 am. Shortly after I drifted back to sleep into REM. I had a dream of myself in my tent and my dog ran out of the tent. I followed him outside to find it was night time, seconds later it was daytime. "Huh?" "That's not supposed to happen..." Then I woke up into sleep paralysis lol.

My second is very vague, but I remember I was in a house. Outside a window it was night time, I walked up a staircase and looked out another window and it was day time. Wasn't lucid yet, though I took note of it. Went back downstairs into a bedroom and my parents showed up and somehow it just hit me, I said to them "You guys aren't real." "I'm dreaming right now." I gave them a push expecting them to be hollow. Then I looked down at my hands and woke up!

My third was my longest one, maybe a minute in length and BY FAR the most realistic. A few days ago I decided to try my first WILD, I failed. Or did I? I decided to give up and sleep normally. I slipped into a dream where I was in my bed sleeping just after failing my WILD. I got SP in my dream, twice. The second one came a few minutes after the first. Thankfully I didn't see anything. "Screw it!" "I'm getting up now!" I said. I walked across my dark room to my light switch and flicked it on, except no light came on. I remember being so confused, I walked to the center of my room and did a RC. I pushed my finger to my left palm and said, "Am I dreaming?" I was astonished to see my left hand disappear! I did that at least 3 more times before I looked around "my room." There was nothing in there except my bed and and a triangular, deformed window lol. I stood there staring at that window until I slowly awoke.

I can't wait for my next Lucid Dream!

      Welcome to Dreamviews!

Yup, the third one does sound like a LD. Started out as False Awakening -FA. But you did RC and realized you are dreaming. Yeey, congrats. Often time when WILDing, even if WILD doesn't happen, it helps us get a DILD or FA, in which we can realize we are dreaming. That's why it's a good idea to RC everytime we get up from the bed. Happy dreams

Hey thanks for the warm welcome gab! No luck last night, but tonight I'm going to try a WBTB and see how it goes.
