Thread: Hello all. New to this site, but not new to LD.

Good day all.

I started my lucid dreaming journey back in September 2004 when I had my first, very brief, lucid dream. I was not trying to have lucid dreams at the time. As a matter of fact I didn’t even know it was possible to have lucid dreams. After my first unexpected experience with LD I did some research, read a couple of books and joined another forum (LD4All). As of today I’ve had 55 lucid dreams since 2004, which is not a great average.

My interest in lucid dreaming has waxed and waned over the last 9+ years. Recently I decided to get back into it. I purchased the book “Are You Dreaming?: Exploring Lucid Dreams: A Comprehensive Guide” by Daniel Love and I am currently about 1/3 of the way through. It is a great book and I am feeling very inspired. He mentions this website in his book and I decided to have a look, and I really like what I’ve seen.

My next step is to set up my dream journal, and add in my past lucid dream as well as the normal dreams I started tracking this past week.

Nice LDing journey you have there. So glad that you have decided to get back to it. And wow, didn't know that our forum is mentioned in that book. That is awesome, and also, that you have found us through it. I guess I will have to buy that book now : )
