Talking I'm new to this site...

I found this site today, and it really got me. I'm trying to figure out how to use it. Slowly but surely I'm figuring it out! Anyway, I dream all the time and had my first lucid dream a couple of months ago I'd say, it was cool. Nothing bug, I just realized I was dreaming, and then it was over... I guess I got a little too excited huh. LOL. A good friend told me a good way to remember your dreams is too... before you go to bed at night, ask to remember them. I know it might sound silly to some, but it DID work for me. Anyway later

What's up, Taurus? Welcome to Dream Views.

Yeah, a lot of people get excited when they first have LD's, and that usually ends up killing it. Hell, even some of us that are used to them have that happen every now and then. You'll get passed that. And yeah, I good way to remember dreams is to sort of command yourself that you can recall them. It's a skill, just like any other, that can get better over time.

Anyway, enjoy your stay, and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

early LDs are usually pretty lame because the mind panics because it doesn't know what to do in a new state of consciousness, that'll pass soon and you'll have some really nice ones. Don't hesitate to ask me or and anyone else on the staff for help.

I recommend also making a dream journal in the section devoted to them, go read some of the other members' for motivation.

      Welcome to Dreamviews, taurus85!

That's great that you have already had an lucid dream. Even though it was short it must have been pretty cool to realize that you were in a dream. And now you know you can do it again.

Enjoy reading through this site. And I hope you share your experiences with us.
