Oh i meditate when i can, as for RC's when dreamsigns arise, i am still deciphering my recent dreams for any other signs i may have missed, but i do try to do a RC when they pop up, but i could meditate until the cows came home if i had the time, i went tor a medative walk yesterday during hour 20 of being awake, i have some lakes nearby so its great to go there for reflection and calm.
So, had a few hours sleep since my last post, bugger all to recall in my sleep, frustrating, my third wipeout in a row now, yet in the week i was recalling 5 or more dreams per night! Such is the fragile nature of our minds...
Lucidity, why? Personally for me, i just really want to engage with my dreams on a deeper level, consciously. Like everyone else, my dreams are vivid, bizarre, lifelike, entertaining and sometimes revealing. And our dreaming mind does not appreciate the sheer beauty that unfolds within a dream, a beauty all of the dreamers making, our making, it is only upon waking that we regular dreamers go "oh my word, that was a pretty good dream"! Yet we were merely observing the dream in a way, not really a part of it., even though the dream actually comes from us, i feel dreaming could be greatly enhanced with lucidity, to participate more, engage more, explore more. Like most people, i have some profound questions to ask myself, but i can also see myself having a lot of fun too, i fly in dreams so much, i also swim in my dreams, neither of which i do in reality, the waking world, real life...
My last dream...
I am in a garden, not a familiar one, and i am sitting on my faux leopard print fur bed throw, feeling the warmth from the sun, the softness of the fake fur, when a butterfly passes by, bright green, almost glowing wings. Suddenly the fake fur leopard print blanket takes the form of the butterflies body, which i straddle confidently and the blanket morphs into a big butterfly. Oddly enough i cannot recall the wings after this occurs, but we do take flight, and the butterflies body feels exactly the same as a horses, and i behave as if i am riding a horse, the butterfly then becomes a horse, jet black, strong and powerful, and we are gliding through some landscape which has little details in it, gliding as i sometimes glide, running with longer and longer steps in the air, running mid air to maintain some distance from the ground. The ground beneath us is sandy, with patches of dry yellow grass and yellow flowers, possibly dandilions but could be buttercups.
The dream fades away, and i wake up thinking, "why didnt i stay on the butterfly?", "why didnt the butterfly have leopard print wings?" and "how the hell do i know how to ride a horse, when i have not even had a donkey ride at the seaside before?" because riding that horse seemed so real, i used all the muscles i suspect you would while riding, and i knew where to place my body in relation to this horse, yet i have never rode one in my life!
Anyways guys, thanks for the welcome, should any of you see someone on a butterfly in your dreams, give me a wave
