      Recurring lucid nightmares/false awakenings?

This is my first thread, I usually only get lucid dreams when I have a nap in the evening and it messes with my sleeping pattern. But I have never had a good feeling whilst lucid dreaming, I realise I'm dreaming by looking at signals (clocks change environment change) but then I get this terrible feeling of powerlessness and usually can't move or my teeth become locked in the dream, I get a ringing in the ear and get a terrible uncomfortable feeling kind of like a rushing feeling like something is coming for me, then sleep paralysis happenings or multiple false awakenings its very hard to tell when I'm actually awake I wake up in my excat bed and surroundings I only realise after a while that I'm dreaming ..then another false awakening, when I try and control my dreams I get the feeling of powerlessness and I shout out commands which rarely work, I had a dream twice within the past week that I can't move and have been actually dragged in my dream whilst not being able to move , I know its just dreams so I don't get worried about them but I do wake up in a bad mood

The mind wont get you in the direction you want, as long as you try to force anything. What ever you fight, will only make what you resist, stronger. The powerlessness you feel, is obviously because you are in need of controll. To be hounest with you, I believe that you have these kind of dreams just because you have such a strong need for controlling eveything. The dreams you call terrible is much likely like this, just because your mind are trying acustom you to not clinging to have controll. So this dream is actually a golden opportunity for you to let go of all controll. Just let anything that happens to you in the dream happen, and see what happens. As soon as you really dont mind to let your self out of controll. Then im very sure that these kind of dreams will stop or at least be much less intense. So let your controll go, and the power will soon be with you again. Good luck to you

Two things you can do are: embrace it and/or believe in yourself. Embracing it with love and patience will usually change whatever is doing evil in the dream, even if its you. On the other hand, believing in yourself will do so much more. The main thing is believing/knowing that whatever command you give out will work. If you have any doubt at all it will usually fail. You must believe and know that it will work and you do have power, after it is just your dream, it all comes from your mind. Its all you. So next time I would recommend believing in yourself, youd be surprised to see that doing just that will get you through everything.

      Goals:
-Become Lucid in every dream every night
      -Perfect the time dilation watch
-Continue to have a dream plan for most of my lucid dreams

Thanks very much for the advice guys I'll give it a try! I'm not a commanding kind of person, I hope my lucid dreams improve as they haven't for over a year, if not I will just have to try and stop napping which usually is what causes it!
