“Of course it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?”

Hi. I'm SnorlaxDreamer and I'm currently 18 years old. I live in Denmark, but have a few roots from Canada on my fathers side.
I've been lurking around for a long time on DreamViews to see what was going on, and what people had to say, and I've finally decided to register on the site. You all seem like amazing people with great experience, and I feel like DreamViews is the place to be.

I've known to lucid dreaming for a year now. It has previously presented itself to me in my child years when I had nightmares. I was able to decide whenever I would like to leave, since I knew it was a dream when things became chaotic. I never really used it to my advantage.
About a year ago, I went through a very chaotic period where I became depressed. I contemplated suicide most of the time, and felt life wasn't worth living. Instead, I slept a lot and stayed out of school. This resulted in my first experience with lucid dreaming. I started to suddenly fly, and realized that it was a dream. I started to feel the wind in my hair, and the dreamscape snapped into vivid detail. From there I started to research about lucid dreaming. I thought it would help me to eventually remove my depression. I luckily did with the help from lucid dreaming, and I currently study at college/high school.

I've had a few experiences since then. 7 lucid dreams, and one OBE which was linked in two parts. I was an atheist before my experience, but after experiencing my OBE by watching a clear light, and feeling my senses out of my body, I've started to become a buddist.
Last night was when my lucid dreaming experience really peaked. I was in a lucid dream for what felt like 20 minutes (I usually only lucid dream for what feels like two minutes), WITHOUT any stabilization. I was able to change landscape, weather, detail and summon a dream character. I became so nervous about probably never waking up, so I woke myself up. It was an amazing experience.

I'm happy to share all the experiences with everyone. Lucid dreamers from around the world feels like family to me.

Keep dreaming!
