First off. Hi everyone thanks for stopping by to see my thread, I appreciate it.
My name is Viktor but you can call me VoRTeX,I'm from Bulgaria. I have been lucid dreaming for about 2 years now but i have only counted about 20.
I am 14 years old and i started using Lucid dreaming as a way to escape my depression which didn't really help.
I have been on these forums for about a year and a half but i have never actually posted anything (just reading).
I can't really think of much to say, thanks for reading this <3.
See you on the forums.
Sorry to read you are depressed. This is a bit of a metaphysical exercise, but it helps a lot with depression and stress:
Spoiler for Solar Plexus Cleansing:
A great exercise that I want to share with you, is for you to imagine that you have a faucet attached in your lower back (the back of your Solar Plexus Chakra) and when you take a shower (take an actual shower) imagine that you open this faucet and imagine that muddy water comes out of this faucet. You know, like gross water, smelly and dirty. Visualize this water going down the drain and getting washed away. Set the intent for this water to be all the negativity that does not belong to you. Imagine that this water is about everything you need to release, other people, negative experiences, negative feelings, stress, karma, etc… Keep this visualization for a few minutes and you will realize how much it will relieve you, it is an amazing exercise that I personally practice.
Furthermore, and back to the main topic, I advice you to improve that lucid dreaming count (great job by the way!) and once you improve your dream control, ask a DC why you are depressed, what do you need to do to help your depression and to any tips they could help to heal it.
Hi Vortex! Welcome to dreamviews! (〃^∇^)o彡☆ I hope you are feeling better now. Being depressed stinks but there are other things you can do to help you feel better, like the exercise that was suggested to you by PercyLucid or some of the things i did to help me feel better. When I was depressed I would set small goals for myself, talk to my family about how I was feeling ,do things that I enjoyed like taking a walk or taking care of my pets, write my feelings down on paper and replace the negative thoughts with more balanced thoughts. I did more stuff but I don't want to list every single thing. When you don't know much about how to deal with something it is best to get good advice from someone who you can trust and is older(Because they probably experienced what you are going through and will know how to help you feel better. Its still good to talk to friends around your age though but the wiser the better.) and to learn about the things you can do to help you feel better.
