A tip for helping the community would be to (while it seems very obvious) is to make friends with everybody. Send people PMs. Leave comments on DJ entries. Reply to threads and contribute to discussions. Get on the IRC. It's what sets us apart from other threads. There are no trolls or malicious users around here (At least that I'm aware of, and I've been here awhile.) so as long as you don't say anything offensive, you shouldn't have a problem with anybody.
