      Hello! ^_^

Hello, everyone! My name is LadyGalaxy, and I just joined this website to learn more about lucid dreaming and controlling my dreams =)
I'm hoping to be able to actually choose when to dream, because I barely ever dream and when I do, it's often a nightmare that I can't control. I want to be able to completely control my dream, to make things or people appear and disappear, to do impossible things, pretty much everything that sounds super. freaking. cool. I also want to learn more about sharing dreams, because that sounds completely impossible to me and it seems fun.
Anyways, every time I dream (and remember it), I try to quickly write down what happens, but usually it's blurry and confusing. It really doesn't help.
I guess I'll just have to start practicing ^_^ Thanks for reading, and have a nice day!

      Welcome, LadyGalaxy!

Nightmares aren't as bad as they seem because they can provide us with the opportunity to become lucid. And once we are lucid we can deal with the situation and turn it into something pleasant. If you need any tips on that or have other questions in general, let us know.

      Have a great time!

      Welcome to the forums!

Definitely try to write down as much as you can when you wake up. Even if you only write down small fragments, just the act of writing down your dreams each morning is a good way to improve your recall fairly quickly.

Let us know if you have any questions, and come chat with us in IRC if you like.
