I lucid dream a lot. It's so fun. I'm currently learning to have more control. Such as prolonging my dream.. I've visited a military hangar and seen an advanced aircraft. Can't really describe it as it was long ago. Had a type of "sensor hub" on top. A design I've never seen before. Dreams do have a tendency to show us unique otherworldly things to us that we wouldn't expect.
Rule of thumb: Controlling the experience involves a relationship between your feelings, and thought. So for example. You feel scared. The dream throws at you something scary. Now you feel scared but your scared about monsters. ahaa. You're being more specific now and dream gives an ugly monster to be afraid of. correct me If I'm wrong that's how it generally works.

Here is an idea.. before I go to sleep. Instead of making reality what you want. Go to a place where reality IS how you want. If you go to a place.. then the experience becomes more powerful in theory because "place" is an archetype that represents something real, palpable, independent of your wishes and control.

Another interesting fact about dreams is that you can choose to have less control. You can believe something to have more control then you. A "god" is an archetype representative of a power that is above yours. You can experiment with that too. Asking to be shown things. It works.

Anythings possible.
