      Pain?

Can you feel in lucid dreams? I dont just mean feel pain but can you feel? Just say I get lucid for my first time and I get sandpaper and rub it on my arm, will I feel it? If I for some reason cut myself with a knife do i feel it?
need to actually start like trying to LD i've pretty much started that now kinda.

I have sense of touch in my dreams...but usually I have to think about it. Same goes for smell and taste, but it depends on the dreams. Sometimes all my senses are there. Sometimes I have to think...when I grab this flower I will be able to feel how soft its petals are, and when I smell it I will be able to smell it for real. I've never felt real pain in a lucid...and I've actually gone through a lucid with a big chunk of my head missing (turns out I was just laying on the pillow strange). But there was no pain, it just sort of felt numb in my dream. I've also jumped off a building and hit the ground...but no pain. Never tried to cut myself...I might give that a try? Just to see if I could feel it.

To the question "Can you feel pain?" The answer is yes.

But, as Nina explained, whether or not you feel pain is based on your own mind. I've found that it is easier for me to feel pain in non-lucid dreams than it is in lucid dreams. Pain in lucid dreams, to me, is either a dull feeling of pressure or nonexistent. Usually, if I'm lucid, and I do something that would normally be painful, but I Knew I was dreamin, I'd hardly feel a thing, if at all. If I'm not lucid, and something painful is happening, I think my attention and anxiety toward that, seemingly real, event causes me to feel it a lot more.

I once had a series of Dreams in which I was repeatedly Crucified. The first time I had to be sedated in order to get around the pain. The second time I was able to tolerate it. The third time I went to it like a tired man looking to take a nap.

But yes, there are tactile sensations.

Well, consult the people who lucid dream for the sake of sexual experience... they must be feeling something.

I just joined, so im afraid I can't help much at all. But I can tell you about the one non-control lucid dream I think I had recently. I really prefer to not give details on it, as it did involve me and my boyfriend. But what I will say is it felt just as it did in real life, in fact, it was better because all the normal worries and clutter in my head all day were gone. It was just me and him in the romantic place we were at. Strange enough, I asked him about it today and he said he thinks he had the same dream. He believes we shared it, I think its possible when you have a very strong bond with someone. I gave him some details of where we were, he thinks he saw the same, but said he was more focused on me. The sweety he is. If I have another like this, I will ask him what he dreamed instead of the other way around.

Well, thats my 2 cents. Hope I helped a little.

So, are you trying to say you can feel emotion? in dreams? Or are you saying you can share dreams?

Oh you can Definitely feel emotions in dreams.
It is widely accepted that emotions are more intense in dreams than in waking life.

As far as dream sharing, so far that is one of the most mysterious frontiers when it comes to dreaming. Many say it is possible, many aren't sure, many don't believe all together.

I'm not sure but, I would imagine if you want to feel it, you will. If you don't, you won't. It's up to you. It's all created from your head. Whatever you want, no limits, no boundaries.
