Lightbulb Just joined so I'm introducing myself

Finally a place to talk to other people about all of this! For me I find that Lucid Dreaming/Astral Projection is a "Lifestyle". I hope to make friends here & so far this site seems to have promise in that respect... I recently acquired a cat & she seems to be my new best friend seeing as she wakes me up at just the right time for me to do a WBTB exercise. No more setting the alarm for me! Ironically she hums to me. I didn't even know cats hummed but its soothing.... Currently I am using my own method. I've been reading a lot about mnemonic memory techniques & came to the conclusion that for me I don't want a scripted list. Instead all throughout my day I look at things, especially ones with motion & say what color they are, what material it is made of & what motion it creates. Exp: Black fan, spins, has metal on it & then I visual the motion & possible other motions it stimulates in my brain.... WBTB method this morning & did not have a LD but I was thinking about my dream house & instead of dreaming about that I did dream of another house with many tight spiral stairs & all of the ppl including myself had abilities & the colors & details of my dream were much sharper which I attribute to using my new technique. Do other people do this?

      to DreamViews!

I have a cat too and at first I thought he will hamper my WILDs. But it turned out he is actually helping to keep me more aware while WILD and not fall asleep too soon. And I had a cool experience with my other cat while what I think was OBE. So I definitelly welcome them as part of my LDing experience.

To your question - the more we think about our dreams, more it reflects in our dreams, recall and details/vividnes of dreams.

Cool, so we both have freaky helpful cats in common! Mine looks like she was made in a lab. My husband & I were drawn to her immediately at the Humane Scociety. She's a Maine Coon. Maybe you could add me as a friend. I'm not sure how all this works. I could really use some individuals to share stuff w/ since in my every day life I only have my husband to talk to about all of this stuff.

Done. If you want more friends, from a post just click on person's username then "add as contact", then send friend request. Or from their profile "add as friend" is a first option under their picture.

But you can ofc talk to anybody here by posting in threads of your interest or start your own thread with a question if you don't find answer to it in recent posts.
