      Hi all!

      Hi everybody,

Long time lurker, first time poster. I've had around 10 dreams since I took the lucid path back in august 2014. At this time I just bumped into a post on Reddit, first time I was told LDing is a thing and you can learn it. (I remember a couple posts on 9gag talking about SP though)
The post on reddit was recommending ETWOLD so I immediately (no joke) ordered it on amazon and started taking interest in my dreams.

I was already in Uni and I didn't remember much my dreams so I started journaling. It took me 8 months to have my first LD and then a few more months to have a second one. I've had a few really clear ones (With almost the same consciousness as IWL). The first year was difficult as I was studying abroad and had a hard time having good sleeping schedules (+ I was putting too much pressure on LDing and I was already really stressed).

I'm focusing on MILD, I've tried WILDing a couple times but I couldn't get passed the first hallucinations (hearing) and the sinking feeling (too excited to get into the dreams) and it makes me habing sleepless nights. I've managed a few MILDs and had a recent breakthrough, I had around 3 LDs in the last 3 weeks.

Also I read a lot (on DV, Reddit, and books like : ETWOLD (which I reread all the time) and Gateway to the Inner Self), I practice prospective memory training (on and off) and mindfulness when I find the energy, I'm keeping a LD (5th journal now) with a few long pauses in the past.

      Nice to meet you all!

      to Dreamviews!

Glad you decided to start posting. Participating ont he forum and the IRC is indeed the best motivation. And yes, ETWOLD is awesome.

Note: When you feel sensations like sinking or hear or see things, you are already transitioning into a LD. You can try some motionless RCs to be sure.

I like to just lay and listen to those things I hear. Even that can be fascinating. I like to see what is said, or what noises I hear. Sometimes I can hear voices but can't figure out what they are saying. That's the trippiest.
---o--- my DCs say I'm dreamy.

Thanks for the help Gab! I'll be sure to check the links, you got me confused about WILD, I might give it another try!
Every time it happened I always waited a bit more, then tried the nose plug (My go-to RC) sadly it never worked, always found myself on the fence and ending up on the "awake side"... I might try the levitating one then... I'll give some feedback!

Hearing happened only once, and it was someone loudly calling me by my name, was hard to stand by!
