Hi everybody,
Long time lurker, first time poster. I've had around 10 dreams since I took the lucid path back in august 2014. At this time I just bumped into a post on Reddit, first time I was told LDing is a thing and you can learn it. (I remember a couple posts on 9gag talking about SP though)
The post on reddit was recommending ETWOLD so I immediately (no joke) ordered it on amazon and started taking interest in my dreams.
I was already in Uni and I didn't remember much my dreams so I started journaling. It took me 8 months to have my first LD and then a few more months to have a second one. I've had a few really clear ones (With almost the same consciousness as IWL). The first year was difficult as I was studying abroad and had a hard time having good sleeping schedules (+ I was putting too much pressure on LDing and I was already really stressed).
I'm focusing on MILD, I've tried WILDing a couple times but I couldn't get passed the first hallucinations (hearing) and the sinking feeling (too excited to get into the dreams) and it makes me habing sleepless nights. I've managed a few MILDs and had a recent breakthrough, I had around 3 LDs in the last 3 weeks.
Also I read a lot (on DV, Reddit, and books like : ETWOLD (which I reread all the time) and Gateway to the Inner Self), I practice prospective memory training (on and off) and mindfulness when I find the energy, I'm keeping a LD (5th journal now) with a few long pauses in the past.
Nice to meet you all!
