Hey miktux, welcome to DV. It may indeed be wise to start with DILD, since it's an easier technique. Here's a link with a lot of information concerning the DILD technique: http://www.dreamviews.com/induction-...cid-dream.html

      Good luck, and sweet dreams!

You're not going to master the rest of your life in one day. Just relax. Master the day. Then just keep doing that every day.

      Hey! Welcome to DreamViews.

You've already had 3 LD's, thats a big step. I'm still working on getting my first one. Don't let it get you down! If you put the hard work in you'll be where you want to be in no time.

Hi David. Welcome and congrats on your three lucid dreams. That's actually a really great accomplishment.

I know it's natural to want more and get discouraged when it isn't coming as fast as you would like it. I remember feeling this way. But it helped when I stopped pressuring myself. I had to remember that I was going to sleep every night for the rest of my life. That was a lot of opportunities.

I have always had the best luck with DILD/MILD and WBTB. While I have had a few successful times with WILDs, I rarely even try anymore because I'm satisfied by the amount of lucid dreams I get with other ways.

My suggestions would be to focus on lucid dreaming throughout the day, a little here and there without being too obsessive. Just enough to keep it at the front of your mind. Keep a regular dream journal. Participate on this forum. If it works with your schedule, do a WBTB a couple times a week. Make a plan about what you want to do in your next LD and think about that before you go to sleep. These are some of the things that I do. And I have 1-3 lucid dreams a week. I have been lucid dreaming for 10 years now. And I am satisfied with that number of LDs. Be patient, the lucid dreams will come and add up over time. You'll have the chance to do the things you want to do.
