      Hello!

I made this account over a year ago. Decided to start checking this place more actively now and participate in the conversations and whatnot. Been lucid dreaming 5 years with fairly poor results compared to most people. Only 79 lucid dream so far. Waking life tends to get in the way a lot, but that's alright.

      Welcome to the forum!

79's not a bad number, but we definitely hope we can make it more. Let us know if you have any questions, and feel free to stop by the IRC chat.

Thanks spellbee! Yeah, lets hope so! I've had the same goal for my lucid dreams for 3.5 years now and many attempts at it, but no success so far. (Trying to reach an alien planet I visited in a dream years ago.) So not only do I have to figure out how to get lucid more frequently, I also need to get better dream control. Wormhole didn't work, opening a door hasn't worked, transforming my room into a spaceship didn't work. Making an apartment building fly didn't work, asking DCs to help didn't work, and TARDIS didn't work. I guess I'm approaching the task wrong or something. Maybe I have a mental block...anyway, I'm rambling. Thanks for the welcome.

Hey Letaali! Welcome to the wonderful world of DreamViews! Fantastic avatar, by the way

I've liked chatting with you in DV Chat. Didn't realize you were Finnish, cool!

I totally understand about waking life getting in the way too, often happens to me. I've been planning on making it a habit to do some LD practice that's not too time consuming. As for dream control, you may just need to practice at it more. Dream control is sometimes like a skill or a power you need to work with to get better. Some people speculate that it may be because we're not used to being able to do supernatural or magical things in waking life, so we have doubts of it working when we're in a dream and those doubts can affect your dream control.

Those dream control examples you gave sound great, by the way
