I've never successfully LD'd before, and I've been trying to for ~2 weeks with FILD and one try of SSILD with no success. If I want quick results, what should I try tonight? I'm thinking MILD or WILD, but I'm unsure as to which is more guaranteed to get me in a lucid dream tonight. |

Im still waiting to get my first LD too. Im very confident that it will be here soon. Any day now ima be writing in my DJ "I HAD A LUCID DREAM." I have been doing the WBTB and its taken a lot of experimenting but i think i finally found the right number of hours i need to sleep before waking up. I then pair it with DILD or MILD. I have also been doing a ton of reality checks and have been really focusing on my awareness. Lucid dreaming is a journey and you really need to take your time and not to rush yourself. You should find some LD buddies and talk with them and get their help. I found some amazing friends and when ever I have any questions I can always count on them to answer. Ive been experimenting and trying to LD for almost a week now and already I feel really close to getting my LD. Last summer I wasted so much time on LDing because I did not know that doing WILD was really hard.. All i did was reality checks and WILDS XD So yeah get some friends to help u. |

Well if your going to go with WILD (why do beginners do this), what you should do is write a complete log of your attempt, like if you spent half an hour trying it after 5hrs of sleep and a half hour wake back to bed, spend half an hour typing up a complete description of what exactly you did, what you felt, images you saw, sensations, your mantra if any, your attempted level of grasp of consciousness etc, and then post it to threads on WILD for analysis by people who actually WILD. After they spend half an hour laughing they will probably give very valuable advice on how to adjust/correct your approach. [if you actually rinse and repeat this for many attempts you just might succeed] |

Sure LUCID DREAMS are all fun and games until someone loses a third eye.
