Hello everybody. I just want to begin with how very impressed i am with the complexity and yet usefulness/able to graspness (probably not a word) of this website. Im not the best with technology i couldn't even figure out how to change my picture at first haha. seriously though, props to you guys running this.

Im 19 years old, i live in rockford illinois which is a very bittersweet place, its the second worst city in Illinois as far as crime (i believe first per capita but i may be wrong, same state as chicago though). There are a lot of people who live around here who would never take a second to think about lucid dreaming, mind awakening, or basically anything outside of what the television or facebook tells them. There is however, an amazing music scene in the rockford area. I currently play guitar for two bands, both from rockford, Gray Skies Above and Static Signal. Gray skies is my baby, we're a metal band, our singer noah is a very awakened individual we have songs about a variety of different things, many of them pertaining to mass consciousness/coming together as humans. I just played my first show with Static Signal about a week ago, they've been playing in this area for years but recently lost their lead guitarist, but i am more than willing and able to fill his shoes. Im gonna stop rambling about my bands, but i will be posting in the artist section

I have yet to experience a full lucid dream. When im falling asleep if i really try i can begin to feel as if the world is spinning around me, and ive had a few dreams in the past in which ive become self aware for a moment but was unable to fully take control and basically woke up right after that happened. im going to begin keeping a dream journal, ive been keeping a regular journal for some months now and it really has helped me to organize my thoughts. Im thinking every day i wake up I'm gonna have one page for that day. its always gonna start with what i remember from dreams, goals etc, and then transition into my plans for the day/thoughts that i feel should be recorded. before i go to sleep ill also make sure to record some thoughts as well, in this way i hope to speed up my entry into the world of lucid dreaming.

I'm not a religious person, but i consider myself a spiritual person. Ive had some amazing experiences and unfathomable coincidences happen in my life which lead me to believe that we are more than brains stacked on top of a bag of flesh, but i do not currently subscribe to any religions. But i know theres something. im hoping lucid dreaming will be able to help me find some answers.

If youre still reading thanks, if not thats okay im sure youre probably reading something even more interesting. if anyone ever wants to message me, im a somewhat busy person between the two bands, the job, and the family, but ill make sure to answer your message as/when i can.

Looking forward to doing some more research and giving you guys my experiences/observations. if anyone has suggestions as far as an especially good beginner thread/method, id love to hear your thoughts.

I AM BOB
