So I am a 22 year old guy who found out about lucid dreaming when I was around 18 and for a few months took it very seriously to try and learn the tips and tricks to get consistently lucid. I had a bit of success through practice but eventually life got in the way as it does and other priorities took over. I I haven’t practiced or taken a real interest in it since then but every so often I do get randomly lucid and I get really surprised in the dream thinking “Why the hell am I lucid? I dont even practice anymore!” haha and then proceed to start flying or something. Now this I think is a great thing as if I start re-learning again, these odd lucid dreams (maybe randomly once/twice a month atm) can start becoming a regular occurrence! My goal for the next 5 months is 3 lucid dreams a week which I think with consistent reality checking and dream journal entries plus just making the concept of lucid dreaming an importance in my head, this goal will be achieved! |
