hello everyone,

i first found this place over 10 years ago, when i was still a very curious teenager. can't remember what happened, but i forgot all about this place and all about lucid dreaming...until now.

i can only remember ever achieving lucidity once, and it wasn't all that vivid. i was in this very large room and i decided i would have spiderman's powers. so i was swinging around and clinging to walls and such; it was pretty fun.

now i'm an ~adult~ and lucid dreaming seems all the more magical and valuable because of the constraints and stresses of adult life. still working on dream recall, but i did a pretty good job of remembering my dream two nights ago.

Welcome! May I call you Slushy-spider member? J/K Well, you could say that lucid dreaming is like trying to get used to a superpower or with anything at that matter, with some work you can harness your skills.

haha...lots of older members coming back.. i also joined over 10 years ago and looking to make a comeback. I havent had a lucid dream in a long time, kind of gave up on it to be honest. those of you that can do it cherish it because it isnt so easy for some of us. welcome back

i feel the same way. even on the rare occasion i remember a dream, i don't experience it very vividly.

My username means is:
Scottish, English, Dutch, German, Danish, Swedish, and Jewish (Ashkenazic): nickname for a tall person, from Older Scots, Middle English, Middle Dutch, Middle German, and Danish lang 'long', Swedish lång. Hungarian: from láng 'flame', hence probably a nickname for a passionate person, or a man with a fighting spirit.

But, that was totally accidental... I choose the name because I didn't like having numbers in my username. Oh, wait you mean this? I mean, life's funny!! Perfectly not confusing.
