      Hey I'm new!

      Hello all!
I've been lucid dreaming since earlier this year, but only last night did I manage to WILD, having approx 10 lucid dreams in the space of an hour, having previously used only the reality testing technique.
Anyway, I have a question- my lucid dreams only seem to last a maximum of 5 minutes, then I awake because I get too excited by the fact that I'm lucid, so is there any way to make them last a lot longer?
      Thanking you kindly!

Hey, welcome to the site! Have you checked out Dv's home page, there's a whole page on there about prolonging lucid dreaming.
Techniques include dream spinning, and looking at your hands.
Also, as you become more experienced at lucid dreaming, you'll find that you don't get over excited as much...it takes practice!
Feel free to Pm me if you have any more questions with regard to this. Hope to see you around and good luck!
