Thread: i'm a newbie

hey all. i became interested in lucid dreaming after a reading some books on shamanism. that stuff might not be up your alley but alas, lucid dreaming is one of the requierements for my quest for knowledge.

here's where i'm at. I've started a dream journal which i rarely write in, 'cause i have a hard time remembering my dreams let alone being lucid in them. i've tried affirmations. butso far all i remember from dreams is that i dream about being at work. i already spend enough time at work so i'm certainly not interested in dreaming about it lol.

today i bought a CD player alarm clock, i set it to a couple hours earlier so i can wake up and linger in that half dream state where, supposedly some may enter lucid dreaming.

any tips on where to begin or techniques would be helpfull.

or, if you just wanna say "hi"... that's fine too :-)
