Like, can you feel the texture of things when touching then, can you feel the wind in your hair when flying, or far enough to even feel cold?
Yes. It's much more than just a "daydream." In my first lucid dream I spent a couple minutes just in awe, running my hands over surfaces and marvelling at how REAL everything was.

I also need some tips, I go to bed and do a reality check. Then I think to myself constantly, in going to be dreaming soon. Then when I get a dream I completely forget about lucid dreaming.
Keep doing what you're doing, but you need to do reality checks all the time, not just before bed. Do them as often as you can remember. The idea is that the habit will carry over into your dreams, and sometime you will do a reality check just out of pure habit, and be surprised to find that you really are in a dream!
