From your post you don't even believe what you are telling yourself. Autosuggestion works in mysterious ways. But you have to say this with conviction and also with the hopes it is real. It can happen.
It can. That is why I posted that actual sentence. I said it over and over, thinking about what I was actually saying each time. (not easy) I may have been Lucky but I had success the first night.
