Post

This is my first post so I would like to say hi to everyone. In my history, i have only had a few lucid dreams... Than again I'm only 17 so I think im getting an early start.
The problem is that lately I have been trying to induce dreams WILDly, or however thats said. I can't really seem to concentrate. I wake up an hour earlier and try to follow some info from another website, but I always get an itch, a runny nose, or im not comfortable at all. Any help would be appreciated.

P.S. can someone tell me the difference between mild, wild, fild and all of those other ones, or just setup a link to a website that helps. Thanks!

Hi and welcome to DV

Personally I wouldn't bother trying to do WILD's until you are more experienced at LDing. With the itch just scratch it, and then try to block it out. Its better to be comfortbale and concentrate on going lucid.

Heres the tutorials section, this should answer some of your questions and tell you about different induction techniques.

Hope that helps

Welcome!

I always get "ichy" too when I try to WILD. And I go ahead and scratch them, too, because it's way too uncomfortable to let them go. I have only had one successful WILD out of 5-6 serious attempts. But it was a great experience.

Keep trying. I wish I had known about lucid dreaming when I was 17.

Good Luck....you are in the right place to learn.

hey welcome to the forums. i would suggest that before trying anything along the lines of a wild, you work up your dream recall because without dream recall, you wont remember your LDs. i believe wilds are the hardest technique to do/master. maybe try a fild.

feel free to PM for anything else you man need.

They probably do know what they are talking about. It is simple, and you'll often succeed.
If you have done it before and you have some experience. Getting the hang of it is very hard.
