I'm pretty sure they will.
FILD in a nutshell:
- Go to sleep as you normally would, and somehow wake yourself up 4.5 to 6 hours later (autosuggestion/alarm clock).
- When you wake up and feel tired, start moving 2 of your fingers slightly. Very slightly. In fact, hardly noticable. Keep moving them though.
- For about 30 secs, keep saying to yourself "I will do an RC after these 30 seconds". Don't count, just keep repeating that and focus on saying that (but not out loud, just in your head) and focus on moving your fingers.
- After (more or less) 30 seconds, reality check.
Either you're in a lucid dream or you're not. If you're not, you might want to give it a last shot. If it still doesn't work, you should just sleep for a bit and maybe try it again. If you keep trying it you'll only wake yourself up more, which will.. not produce any results.
