When I become lucid, I can hear myself breathing (my waking body), I was wondering if anyone else experiences that.

Hi,

No I havn't experienced that - my 7 LD's have been breathing free - but I havn't had many LD's
yet so I will get back to you if that happens.

Nope.. never. I don't even hear myself snore, and I've gotten pretty bad (my wife will testify to that).

I slept in the basement one night with voice activated recorder on the computer. I didn't believe my wife that I was honkin that bad. Well, the next morning I apologized with the greatest of sincerity, tail between my legs. I couldn't believe what I heard. I actually made an appt with the doctor that same day. He told me it was allergies (duh...) and a deviated septum.
Only the cinders remain as another night becomes a yesterday...

Yeah I can usually here myself breathing, (my sleeping body) IF I am focused enough on it I can usually here myself very good and also even have connection with my physical body. But I usually try not to listen to my breathing because it breaks my concentration in my Lucid Dreams.

Has this happened with every lucid dream? But no I haven't experienced it but I have felt my "real body" once or twice in a dream. It kind of takes the realness away from the dream and it quite annoying.

No, not everytime, like half of the time. It sometimes induces a lucid because I recognize the sound. But the excitement of being lucid kind of drowns out the fact that i can hear myself breathe.

I reckon it's probably just generated by your mind! I often find bits of real world apparently coming through into my LDs, like being able to half-see waking life, except its somewhere that isn't my bedroom or my legs that I can see and feel moving, half through the dream cant be in that position or angle! It's a cool effect though ^^
