Ok, well not so fast y'all - I mean yah, the dreamscape is fascinating and is infinite in possibilities, but it's not always controllable. However, some of the coolest experiences I've had were merely observing the environment - literally staring at a field of grass or a single leaf on a branch could be a thrill.

Your mind will recall feelings and senses you've experienced in real life to give you the most "real" experience while at the same time using your imagination and expectations of what you might "expect" certain things to be like. For example, it will combine the experience of a rollercoaster ride you've been on with what you may have seen from up top a tall building to simulate the feeling of flying. Really cool stuff.
