hi, |

hi, |
|
Read the names in your telephone book starting with the A's. |
|
Ever tried counting? It seriously works. But what works even better (it has an almost hypnotizing effect), is if you try to "see" the numbers either on a whiteboard, or floating, or (even harder) on a sheet of line notebook paper. Seems easy, right? Try it. It also helps you fall into a lucid sleep state. |

Um, no, I was talking about keeping your eyes closed. But maybe that will work too.... |

hi guys, |
|
Are you trying too hard to fall asleep? Cause that can impede your sleeping/lucid dreaming process. If you start feeling like you're sliding into a "bubble" or sleep, try "falling" through your bed. Not literally, obviously, but try making the sensation. Don't think about how long it's been since you tried to go to sleep, or how long you have till you need to wake up, cause it will mess up. I don't see anything wrong with your sleeping patterns, but I know it can differ person-to-person. Have you ever tried lucid dreaming during the day? Lay on your bed and try the floating numbers/falling through bed trick, and it almost feels like you're not even dreaming, but you'll know if you move, or hear a loud or familiar sound, because it will break that fragile state. But anyway, dreaming during the day helps me to attain lucidity at night if I'm having a hard time. Hope this helps. |

I recently changed my strategies after a month whithout good LDs, maybe they could apply for you: |
|
Dec. 2006 - July 2007:
92 DILDs + 30 WILDs ; 75% too short, 24% decent, ~3 of 2 to 5 minutes
(I stopped counting after that)
Hey nechong. Maybe the sun is bothering you. Also if you want more time to LD before 9 go to bed at 10! That leaves 11 hours to attempt at lucid dreaming! About your not being able to fall back asleep, if you do the WBTB at night when theres no sun, you might do better. Good luck |
