Man. I wish I could find that post.. |

---o--- my DCs say I'm dreamy.
The first time you gain lucidity (which will happen soon enough if you want it to) you will most likely be blown away by learning that you're not awake, but are actually dreaming. Anyway, anything is possible in (lucid) dreams. Now when I say anything I don't mean whatever you can normally do plus flying and shooting pig-shaped fireballs from your ears. By anything I mean anything. The dream setting can be a complete void or a metropolis with millions of inhabitants. Maybe it has a 5th dimensions or maybe you have a 6th sense. As long as your mind (even just you subconscious) can make it up. |

A dream
is a reality that others cannot see.
Reality
is a dream you share with others.
Ok... in simple terms... Its like whatever your doing right now, but with the laws of physics and space/time out the window... |

Ok, well not so fast y'all - I mean yah, the dreamscape is fascinating and is infinite in possibilities, but it's not always controllable. However, some of the coolest experiences I've had were merely observing the environment - literally staring at a field of grass or a single leaf on a branch could be a thrill. |

Lol your dream may change as everyone has stated. I think, though, what you are asking is how it will compare in relative experience to what you know by the "wakeful" state. |

When once you have tasted flight,
You will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward,
For there you have been,
And there you will always long to return
It's like actually being in an alternate reality. It feels, looks, and sometimes even tastes as real as actual life. You might want to go and read the tutorials. They will help you immesely while on the road to LDing. If you have picked out a couple of techniques you would like to try, try them for awhile to the letter, and tweak them to fit you. After two weeks, you can start looking into the adoption program. It really helps if you are having trouble. And, if I were you, I wouldn't rush it. You won't have an LD the very first night, or perhaps not in the first month. Keep up the motivation. It will pay off. Oh, and get a Dream Journol. They will help you with your recall. |

Dream Journal: Dreamwalker Chronicles Latest Entry: 01/02/2016 - "Hallway to Haven" (Lucid)(Or see the very best of my journal entries @ dreamwalkerchronicles.blogspot)
You should really check the tutorial about dream realism. You might also be interested in one of BillyBobs posts. You can find it in his signature. It's called "Real lucid dreams", something like that. |

Currently practicing WILD. I quote Kaniaz who said it best: "The point of WILD is to piss me off". Though, I have not given up, far from it.
lucid dreams can be as vivid as all these guys said...but to help out the vivivity you need good dream recall. Make sure you keep up your dream jornal! |

Most of the times, my LDs are as real as real life... too much so, in fact: I can't yet go through walls and objects because, well, I only bump in it and its physically hurts |

Dec. 2006 - July 2007:
92 DILDs + 30 WILDs ; 75% too short, 24% decent, ~3 of 2 to 5 minutes
(I stopped counting after that)
