Thanks. I am pretty new to LD, just head of them a week ago, or atleast what you can do. I've heard of the word lucid dream but figured it was just like SP or something, which i've had. I hear the sound of my elementary door sound as you open or close it, the squeek then i wake up and i feel my covers slowly move off of me and i cannot move at all, i then got out of it and ran to my dad all scared. Back when i was like 7. |

Supposedly, once you have SP, its really easy to slip into a lucid dream. So if you have SPs on a regular basis, you could have LDs on a regular basis as well. |

I havn't wrote my dreams down once. I remember almost no dreams when i wake from sleep, too. Some dreams i still remember that i had 8-10 years ago. |

SP can be a scary trip, can't it? Oh well, it gets easier and actually even... *gasp*... FUN after a while. It's all in how one approaches it! Keep practicing; it sounds like you already have a headstart! |

I've never woken up with SP, so I can't tell you anything from personal experience. I do remember reading something about SP that if you wake up with it, you should close your eyes, stay relaxed, and start thinking about the dream you just had... supposedly that would make you fall back right back in the dream. Since your SP only last a few seconds (I'm not even sure how long it usually lasts), I don't know if that technique would work in such a short amount of time. |

Ok, I've heard that SP lasts a long time from some people, and that it only lasts for seconds from others! Which is the truth? |
